ATTENTION! ~ NOTICE! ~ LISTEN UP! ~ IMPORTANT!

Below this area of text you will find the terms and policies of the company that we lease the tribe's server space from.  You must adhere to these terms that are applicable to persons sub-leasing server space, and furthermore you must not post any media of any nature that damages the image or casts an unfavorable light upon the tribe or the tribal government.  For those that do not understand the above,
Here are some of the main rules, take them at face value:

  1. No pornography (pictures of naked people, lewd adult reading material, etc.) of any nature is allowed on web sites (including hidden or protected directories or files) that the tribe might host. This includes sites that may include sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere.
  2. No spamming is allowed to be sent through the tribe's servers. (this is also an illegal activity in the United States and punishable under the law, see CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.)
  3. If it's illegal where you are, then it's illegal on the tribe's servers - don't break the law on the tribe's servers.
  4. If it's indecent (by normal people's standards) or lewd, slanderous, an intentional lie, raunchy or down right offensive, don't upload it to your web site. (This is not an invitation for a debate on morality or censorship, if the tribal government (any branch thereof) considers something to be any of the above, that's it, end of story.)
  5. If you break the rules you will no longer have a hosting account with Tsalagi Hosting Services; you will not receive a refund for whatever remains of the year that you leased space for.
  6. If you are told by email, by telephone or by any other means or methods that you are breaking the rules, you must immediately correct the problem.   If you do not do so immediately  your account will be suspended temporarily by the Information Technologies Division, until you have a chance to correct the problem.
  7. If you are not sure whether or not any particular content or media is appropriate, please ask.  Contact it@tribalgov.info with a good description of the content or media and we will evaluate it.  If we are not sure, we will get an opinion from the Executive Department or Elders Board.
